A Journey to Finding Relief of Vestibular Issues
Patients of Midwest Dizziness and Balance Institute have seen an average of 4 professionals before getting to us. If you, or someone you know, are experiencing these health concerns, please contact us to make an appointment. We look forward to helping you.
You don’t have to live with the uncomfortable symptoms of vestibular issues. Most patients are unaware that their dizziness and balance symptoms are likely coming from the inner ear. With a proper diagnosis and treatment plan, you can get your life back and experience improved health and wellness all by consulting with the knowledgeable team at Midwest Dizziness and Balance Institute.
How Does it Work?
After scheduling your appointments, we will verify your insurance. The first appointment will be a phone call where you will speak with one of our Doctors of Audiology over the phone and your history of symptoms will be reviewed. Then we will conduct an in-office assessment to evaluate your entire vestibular system in order to get a full picture and figure out what is causing your dizziness, vertigo, and imbalance. We are one of the only places in St. Louis that tests the ENTIRE system. The initial assessment takes approximately 3 hours and is non-invasive. Your comfort matters to us.
After your assessment, we will review the findings thoroughly and schedule a results appointment 2-5 days following your initial appointment. Here we will discuss the results of your assessment and diagnose as needed. Additionally, we will decide what treatment plan is right for you.

Once diagnosis is complete, we use Advanced Vestibular Treatment™ to treat dizziness, vertigo, and imbalance disorders. Treatments can range between 1-12 visits, may include home exercises to assist in your recovery, & are specialized for every patient. Our treatment is 85-90% effective in reducing the frequency, severity and intensity of your symptoms.

You can always consult with your provider on your treatment plan, condition, or side effects from treatment. Having open communication from both parties will aid in the success of your treatment.
